Curran's Bar was built in 1791, the same year as the church across the road. The building has been run by the Curran family for many years and has a long history.

It was once the place to met the local matchmaker, visit the doctor, and write your will. It continues today to be the place to celebrate the birth of a baby and marriages, and also the lament the passing of a dear friend.

The bar has a fantastic reputation for its food which you can see by the numerous plaques adorning the walls. Live music is to be found every weekend.
