KILLARD POINT
A scenic walk at the mouth of Strangford Lough
​
Beginning at the designated parking on the Killard Road at Mill Quarter Beach follow the beach and enter through the kissing gates. Follow the informal path to the point and go over towards the beach.
​
Highlights along the route include: wildflowers, Guns Island, butterflies, red cliffs, old radar station, and a cliff top walk.
​
This route is entirely informal. There are open fields, roaming livestock, and rocky terrain.
